
One of the most anticipated and welcomed EVENTS OF THE YEAR showcased Alias Advantedge’s very own JACK SKELLINGTON who attended various celebratory events throughout Northern California.
The interactions with our new character was quite a sight to see. Both children, young and old alike, were swarming up to the Great Pumpkin King to hug, high five, and capture the special moment with conversation and requests to take a private photo with the King. Admirers of Jack wanted to know how to reach him after the event to invite as a special guest for their own upcoming venues and special occasions.

Choose a popular character or influencer to be the voice of your company or product, that the general population appreciates and wants to interact with at the events. Our Jack Skellington Character was a BIG HIT this year. We could hardly keep up with the requests from the audience for exclusive photos as he made his way through the crowds. Jack was able to pass out business cards for the company he was representing at the time, along with handing out fun trinkets and promo material that people were asking for because of the 'experience' our character provided them. Make it fun, and the people will come!

Create videos showcasing your products to win over clients who want a preview of the product being used by others. People look for product reviews from real customers before buying it more often than not. Those videos are really important.
People have an innate interest to support their local communities which includes local businesses that support them in return in the long-standing symbiotic relationship we call - life. And everyone thrives when working together. Make sure as a business owner, you support your community as well. Donate to worthy causes locally, volunteer and contribute whenever possible.
Remember! Don’t just sell, make that deeper connection. We build a loyal community by helping each other feel seen and valued. When big players' strengths are volume, savings and/or speed (Amazon, Costco, Walmart, etc.), focus on soul, tradition, family, legacy, one-of-a-kind experiences, uniqueness, history and community.
Most people will buy an experience if they are compelled. We spend money on summer vacations every year, oftentimes to the same place because of the positive past experiences. People go to the same Christmas tree lightings in their cities every year, they hike the same trails every summer and love to stop in at the same restaurants. Create an opportunity for people to engage in an experience with whatever it is you want to share with the world.
Remind customers what is more important than the standard box delivered overnight to any doorstep ; that would be a personally packaged product made by a family or individual with a relevant heritage to the mission or product who values real-world connections far more than cheaply made products not supporting our communities and keeping jobs and resources accessible right where we live.
Make it personal. Once you become a family tradition, (visiting the same pumpkin patch year after year, or buying the same dessert from the same bakery for Thanksgiving every year) the customer loyalty pays dividends.
